Hi Everyone,

We are excited to announce that we have officially started getting signatures for this petition!  Some people maybe asking....  why did we start this?  Well...  it all started last year one fine sunny (and might we say HOT) day in Albert County, NB.  The day was to commemerate and celebrate the life of one of our fine New Brunswick sons, Richard Bedford Bennett.  Under the tent in the 30 degree weather (which is very unusual for the Fundy Shore) former Prime Minister John Turner told everyone that he believes Prime Minister Stephen Harper isn't giving Richard Bedford Bennett the credit he deserves.  All I talked about for weeks after was who Bennett deserves recognition.  That lead me to yesterday.  I realized NOW is the time. This cannot wait another six months or a year.  Canada needs to honour Mr. Bennett....
